Different test result when set Physical Disk vs. Logical Disk

I am using BIT V7.0 Pro, run a disk stress test on SSD drive.

When setting BIT = "Local drive (Logical disk)", the SSD drive able to pass 24 hour of stress test.
When setting BIT = "Physical disk", the SSD drive failed within hours of stress test.

    My questions are:
    1. What are the possible reason on running with the same SSD, by using different setting will have different test result?

There have been a few changes and bug fixes to disk test over the last 4 years.

Can you upgrade to the current software and repeat the test.
