  • BurnIn Test v10.2 build 1007 - Software exception encountered

    When executing Burnin Test v10.2 build 1007, the error message “Software exception encountered” will appear, and then selecting “OK” will exit the program.
    May need your favor to confirm it and give some advice, thanks.
    • Configuration:
    OS: Win11 22H2 22621.1702
    BurnIn: v10.2.1007
    • Note:
    BurnIn v10.2.1004 > The issue can't reproduce.

    We aren't aware of any bugs in the 1007 release.
    So it might be a hardware fault (for example we increased the 3D video load in patch release 1007).

    Can't really comment more without knowing more details (logs, system configuration, how reproducible the problem is, what tests are running, crush dumps, etc..)

      ​Intel discrete gpu: v31.0.101.4318
      F/R: 100% (An error message "Software exception encountered" will appear as long as the BurnIn test v10.2.1007 is executed.
      We would like to ask you kindly help analyze the dump, thanks.

        Dump indicates that crash occurred on 'ze_intel_gpu64.dll' which is not part of BurnInTest.
        Try updating your graphics drivers - there is a newer version released (31.0.101.4369)

        BurnInTest did not crash for us using a Intel Arc A750 with latest drivers.
