how to define temperature sensors

I cannot find how to define temperature sensors.

this file shows the temperature in 1000th of a degree centigrade:
/etc/armbianmonitor/datasources/soctemp -> /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/temp1_input

Not exactly sure what you want - is this related to BurnInTest Linux? (if so, please provide more detail) Or just a general question? Or are you asking how we detect temperatures?

Note that BIT Linux only tries to detect temperatures for the CPU and hard drives.
