  • Burnin test 7.0 PRO with Optical disk drive test issue

    Hi,
I selected to autodetect and test all Optical disk drives. However, I see that on windows 10 units, the test is not performed (image 1 and 2). The only way I can make it test is to select the check box from image 3. The problem when checking the box is that it fails on units that do not have an ODD. Is there a configuration that needs to be adjusted? I'm running the test on windows 10 laptops, tablets, desktops and All in OnesClick image for larger version

I wanted to add that i test using a saved script that executes automatically

If the optical drive option is not selected in the test selection options then it will not run.

We don't see the behavior you reported when using Version 8.1 of BurnInTest, if the "automatically select all optical drives" option is checked and there are no optical drives present then the test is not executed.

Could you please try using the latest build of BurnInTest 8.1, http://www.passmark.com/download/bit_download.htm
