  • BIT 11 WinPE AND INSTALL to USB

    Hello everybody.
I just purchased my 4 version of BIT.
    Two questions.
    1) Unfortunately in Windows PE (which I use to check if the machine has hardware problems) it gives no signs of life.
I followed the canonical instructions that I also used for building the Windows PE System with BIT 10/BIT 9 and BIT 8 but the system remains stuck.
I am using the latest version of ADK ( windows 11 24H2).
Are there any differences between installing the ADD-Ons for BIT 10 and BIT 11?

    2) In creating the USB flash drive via the menu item, I found that the Internet connection is required, again.
This can be a problem for me: I use this software to recognize the problems of the PCs they ask me to fix, and many times I have the requirement that they are not connected in the network. I fully understand the motivation for this blocking, but for me, at this point, it is better to stay on the old version.
    Thank you

    1) We have been made aware of the issue when launching BurnInTest V11 in WinPE and are preparing a build update to address the issue later this week. The issue stems from missing dlls in the base image of WinPE.

    2) An internet connection is required for activation. Except where a site license is being used. A site license allows for unlimited use of the software (online and offline).

BurnInTest V11.0 Build 1002 was just released. Can you give that a go. It should correct this issue.

        Okay thank you.
Since I don't need to have an infinite number of machines I don't think I can afford the cost of Enterprise software
I made myself a WINPE flash drive that contains what, as a technician, allows me to solve important cases: So I have acronis, dish2vhd, BIT and I know how to use dos commands.
I'm thinking about it, but at this point maybe (for my purpose) I need to do further thinking.
        Good work
