BIT 10.2_1014 Not detecting Temps for A40 or Xeon Gold 6542Y

Hello,

I am trying to test some units and we are missing temperature data for the following CPU/GPU combo.

(x1) Nvidia A40
(x2) Xeon Gold 6542Y CPUs

I attached the debug files i generated for this issue. I attempted to upload the trace files as well, and it would not allow me to. I renamed those files to .zip to allow me to include them on this thread.

I appreciate any help that can be offered! We are still using the older version of BIT until we can purchase a license for 11.

There is no industry standard for collecting temperatures from CPUs. So new code needs to written for each CPU family.

We aren't going to be going back to V10 to add support for new CPUs.

Can you try with V11 (just the trial version is enough) to see if that works. If it doesn't we can have a deeper look into it.

Hello David,

does the trial version of v11 work without an internet connection? Our testing racks are isolated and we have a standing practice of never connecting our customer’s systems to anything outside of that environment.

i know we will need to purchase the site license for our use case going forward, but for this exercise I am hoping the trial will work.
