BIT freezes when testing any of the 3 hard drives but passes when testing none.

This is a new build
Asus A88XM-PLUS
A10 AMD 4GHZ QUAD CORE
32MG DDR3
3 X 2TB HARD DRIVES
Win7 64 SP1

Using BIT 5.3 as I am too tight to buy new version lol

Initial test had HDD's in raid 5 - froze
Test without Disks - Passed

Revert to 3 separate HDD's & test with 2 of 3 in all combinations to narrow down faulty drive - froze
Test with each individual HDD only - froze

Again test with no HDD's - Passed

My assumption is either version of BIT too old to test current standards . . . or Sata component of MB has issues

Any assistance appreciated.

There have been a huge number of changes and bug fixes since the V5 release 12 years ago.

It might be a bug (which was fixed sometime in the last decade) or it might just be incompatibility. Either way we aren't going back to the V5 release to investigate the issue.
