BurnIn Battery Info/Test

I noticed that on the Battery Monitoring and Battery Info under System Information some of the info does not seem to be correct. Under Battery Monitoring it shows Battery Voltage as 27.700v. The Input/Output is around 120v. Maybe it's reading a different voltage? Also, shows Status as Charging when it is 100% Charged. Have attached screenshot. This is desktop system with UPS (CyperPower model CP1500PFCLCDa) using Windows 11 driver. No CyperPower software or driver installed. I know the Battery Test info/test is mostly for Laptops but just wanted to mention it.

I wonder if internally the UPS has cells that charge 27V. This is not an unusual charging voltage for individual cells.

I checked the specs for your unit and it seems to have 2 x 12V Lead-acid batteries. So 24V. And so 27V is not an unexpected charging voltage.
Likely there is a DC-AC step up inverter on the output to lift the 24V batteries to 120V.

Not sure why it reports as charging when full, but we get this information from Windows, not directly from the battery itself.

The thing about the Battery Voltage makes sense. I didn't think of that. Thanks for looking into it.

I unplugged the UPS and BurnIn shows it as discharging. So maybe it's either charging or discharging?

One more question. What does Charge Rate mean? Seems to always show 0 Units know matter what. Either charging or discharging.

Since like I always said, this test is mostly for laptops not to concerned.

What does Charge Rate mean

When the battery pack makes the number available it should show the rate of charge. e.g. 15,000mW.

You were right about the voltage thing showing 27v. I checked it with OCCT and it too shows 27v for the Battery Voltage. I guess the battery pack isn't making a number available to show a charging rate. But thanks for all the info.
