    Thanks,
I run BIT from a CD in a complete Windows OS.
According to your instruction, I create a temp folder for BIT on the hard disk and delete it after done.

May I ask what is cu.exe's functionality? < clean ultilities?>

    Thanks

The typical way to run BurnInTest from a CD is to copy the "zip" version of BurnInTest Pro to a CD (as per the online FAQ) and then run the BurnInTest from the CD. If this is what you are doing, I am not sure why you need to delete cu.exe, as this should also be run from the CD (by BurnInTest). I would have thought that you would only need to remove a directory if you created a temporary directory on the systems hard disk such as for log files (which would not contain cu.exe)?

FYI, cu.exe may wait approximately 10 seconds after BurnInTest closes before cu.exe closes.

    cu.exe problem

    Hi,

I run BIT standalone version (1013) from a CD. At the end of the process, the command rd /s /q erases all but cu.exe.
I also put a command sleep 1 to delay 1 second before remove the folder, but cu.exe survives.
On some other systems, it is gone.
    All OSs are XPpro sp2.
    I do not know why?

    Thanks,
    Thanh
