    BIT Linux CPU frequency no longer rise during test

    Hello,

    When running BIT Linux V5 build 1016 and doing CPU-test at 50% on a certain computer we saw a rise in CPU frequency as to be expected. After updating BIT to build 1020 the frequency no longer rise. We observed that under System Information in build 1016 shows Cores per CPU = 1 and in 1020 it shows 20.

    Is there anything else changed below the surface? We are afraid that the build 1020 is not putting the same amount of stress on the CPU.

    The CPU Test did not change, but we updated the detection of cores from the output of the lscpu command in BurnInTest Linux V5.0 Build 1017. Can you start BurnInTest Linux in debugmode and start a quick run of just the CPU test and provide the logs?

    To start BurnInTest Linux in debug mode use the "-d" command line parameter.

      My apologies, after further investigation we discovered that 'lscpu' was missing which caused BIT to default to 1 core. After adding 'lscpu' BIT successfully detected the correct amount of cores. Now the CPU frequency is rising as expected during the test.
