Why won't 3D of Passmrak Burn-in V8.1 work with 640x480 resolution?

The resolution is setting 640x480 under win7,and run PassMark bunr-in Test V8.1(2D,3D,CPU,Momory),but 3D will error:" Error initializing Direct-X device "
if the resolution is setting 800x600 under win7,this issue can't be found

We can't seem to reproduce any similair problems here (assuming you are using full screen mode for the 3D test).

Do you still get an error when running just the 3D test with none of the other tests running?
Does the monitor support 640x480?
