[BIT ARM] please add a graphic output test

    Hi

I'm currently using weston-simple-egl in parallel with BIT for ARM to have some graphics output. Unfortunately there is no viable logging option in this way. Could you add some similar graphics test to BIT for ARM?

    Best Regards

We have Windows and Linux software, which edition are you using? And which version number?

Some of the 3D stuff on Windows will never work on ARM. Microsoft never ported parts of DirectX over to ARM from x86. So there isn't full compatibility on ARM. But some stuff does work on ARM.

      HI David (PassMark)

We're running the cmd line version on Yocto 5. The GUI version won't work here. There is a wayland weston graphical output and on that I run the weston-simple-egl screentest. We have a licenced version of BIT for ARM v5.0 (1022).

There is no graphical output from the command line version of the software and probably never will be (as then it wouldn't be a command line tool anymore, if it had a GUI).

We've also never done any testing with the Yocto 5 distro. Our testing is done on CentOS, Fedora,Ubuntum, Raspberry Pi OS.

Version comparison can be found here

If graphical testing was required on Linux ARM, then porting / recompiling the existing x86 Linux GUI version would make the most sense. There would be a cost for this however as there hasn't been much demand for this combination so far.
