This would normally be a "Duty cycle" setting slowing things down. This allows the user to set the load per test type. To set the maximum load of 100%, and hence remove the sleep periods, Configuration->Test Duty Cycles-> and move the Disk slider all the way to the right (100%).
If this is not the cause, please let me know the size and type of the disk, and your disk test settings. Also the number of disks you are testing, number of CPU's/ CPU cores, and other tests running.
Has this been resolved? I am experiencing the same problem.
The duty cycle is set for 100% load.
The test is being performed on an HP DL360 G5 server. The Disks are SAS 72GB 2.5inch 15000RPM drives in a Raid 1 configuration. The disk test settings are as follows:
Test mode: Sequential
slow drive threshold: 0
File Size: 1
Block size: 1024KB
Seek count: 100
Bad sector threshold: 20
Everything else is set to the default setting which is mainly blank.
