Is my Hard Drive Failing
I keep getting Raw Read Error and ECC Hardware recovered. The drive is 5 yrs. old. Reinstalled windows XP about a month ago hoping this would fix problem but it didn't. The temp. of the drive moves from 20c to 37c. All the fans which are 3 running are working great. Active Smart shows drive at 60% good and performace the same. I have 85% free space to help the problem out. I have shown 62 event postings of the same in the last 4 days.

Active Smart is not our product. Have a look at DiskCheckup instead.
But it sounds like it is time to buy a new hard drive (and keep good backups). -
