  • Diskcheckup cannot start, cannot gather SMART info

I've just installed Disk Checkup, and every time I try to start up the program I'm greeted with the error message

    Code:
    ---------------------------
    Errors initializing DiskCheckup
    ---------------------------
There were errors trying to gather the SMART info.

    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------
    I'm using Win7 32 bit. I've 3 SATA HDDs:

    WDC WD15 00ADFD-00NLR SCSI (primary, Win7 32b)
SAMSUNG HD501LJ SCSI (Windows XP 32)
    SAMSUNG HD501LJ SCSI (storage)

The odd thing is that my drives aren't being detected with any SMART software when running on this drive. When I run a SMART program on my XP drive, then it's all hunky-dory. If I was given more information, I could probably work on the issue myself, but no crashdump or error log is generated.

Help would be appreciated, as I'd like to be able to use the program.
