    USB 2.0 Linux Throughput Testing

    Greetings,

I was looking at a good way of measuring USB 2.0 throughput using Linux, I know Passmark has an application called "USB2Tester" which along with the PassMark USB 2.0 plugins will give you a measurement of read/write throughput using Windows.

I was wondering has anyone tried running USB2Tester under Linux using say WINE ? Does it work ?

Any suggestions on tools that would allow me to accomplish this under Linux ?

    Tnx Keith

We haven't heard of anyone running USB2Test under wine, you may have some trouble installing the required USB2 plug device driver (and running USB2Test in such a way probably won't give you the best possible speed).

Note also that the USB plugs work natively under Linux, but we are only supporting the slower loopback mode in the BurnInTest for Linux software.
