Queries regarding Montest Software

Hi David

We want to test the color depth of our LED/LEDs by using Montest software.
Kindly answer the following queries:
1. Can the Montest Software detect color depth of 10 bit VGA card i.e. 1.07 Billion Colors in Video Information.
2. Given the VGA/Graphics card supports 1.07 Billion Colors, can the "Scale Black - RGB" test draw 1024 lines on screen to effectively detect the 10 bit LED capability.

"Bits per pixel" is reported. But as Windows doesn't know much about 10 bit colour I suspect it won't report 10 bit colour as being active on the windows desktop.

At the moment all the test patterns are only 8 bit colour.

Once Windows has better support for deeper colour depths, we'll obviously need to update the software.
