What is the most powerfull processor or RAM ?

Hello , im about to buy a new pc but i dunno what is the most powerfull between the cpu or the RAM .
For example , i see in the cpu chart that the Intel Core i7-3970X is one of the most powerfull cpu in the list , but i also see that its RAM compatibility are limited to 1600 mhz

and i see that now , there are some RAM of 2800 Mhz , which are not compatible with this intel core i7-3970x

So what would be the most powerfull choice ??? biggest RAM or biggest CPU ?

Give priority to getting a better CPU over getting better RAM.

Also give priority to a good SSD, as you'll notice the impact of a solid state drive more than a slightly better CPU.

yes i have to buy one of theses new SSD , you are right , for a SSD do you think OCZ is good ? cause i see a lot of malfunctions on some forums , people are not happy with theses SSD
so maybe there are better products than them ..

Out of the dozen SSDs I have purchased from various manufacturers I have had 2 failures. So maybe 15% failure rate. Both failed quickly, within a month.

Many of the large hosting companies are using Intel SSDs.

This isn't a large enough sample size to really draw any conclusions, except to say that
1) You should always purchase from a vendor who won't give you grief when a RMA is needed.
2) You should keep backups.
