A6-9220

Have to buy a laptop for school. Found an HP with 8gb ram, 256 ssd for great price but it has an A6-9220. Is this cpu workable for basic school stuff or not worth it?

The A6-9220 is a low end CPU (and also fairly rare).

It will be OK for EMail, light web browsing and writing documents in Word.

Would be pretty awful for gaming, programming, graphic design, video editing.
