Greetings All,
At the behest of my SSD & RAM manufacturer (both by the same), it was suggested that I use the free version of MemTest.
Please forgive if my wording here is not correct and I hope the issue will become clear.
I used a SATA/USB rigged 500GB hard drive I have as a backup storage drive for the downloaded image.
I performed the test and left it running overnight.
I now do not have 500GB of storage on this drive, but rather only 1/10th of the original size: about 50gb.
I've tried performing a reformat on this drive to no avail.
Does anyone know what I've done wrong?
Can I resurrect the space I've lost?
Some help would be most excellent.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
FarmerKlutz
