iPhone and Android

Hi!

are iPhone and Android CPU and GPU benchmarks comparable? I mean, a score of 2000 in CPU benchmark mean that both iPhone and Android CPU power is about the same?


(not to start a flamewar, just a developer looking at phone specs for porting games)

In theory there is some comparability, but in practice there are a lot of issues to take into account.

For example the frame rate on Andriod and the iPad might be the same, but the native resolution on the iPad might be 4 times as high.
