rtx 2060 worth it?

Hey, I'm fairly new to the forum. But passmark forum has always helped me in solving my hardware dilemmas, So i thought might as well make an ID here and ask get the answer for my new confusion as well! I currently have the GTX 1060 Asus Strix and I recently purchased an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor, So i've been struggling to get 60fps in games obviously the 1060 isnt that powerful. I've set my eyes on the RTX 2060 for the upgrade. Can someone tell me if the rtx 2060 would be fine? considering that i have a very tight budget and im already getting the 2060 with somewhat of struggle. Also IF i get the 2060 which variant should I go for? I saw this best rtx 2060 article and they've the evga at the top, is the evga xc ultra worth it? Thanks.

you should either go for 2070 or 2080, 2060 isnt going to last long
