The name of the drive (embedded into the drive itself) was "3.0UÅÌ". It isn't normal to have a corrupted name.
The write failure was at the 4GB mark.

So maybe your 8GB is a counterfeit drive and is only 4GB in reality.

EDIT: Ignore this above. I didn't notice the error was during the USB drive read. Richard below is correct. Don't write files >4GB to FAT32 disks.

I asked my friend to give me a Windows 10, because I am building my new PC. My friend gave me a flashdrive (Transcend SF V30/8Gb), I assume It is a bootable drive for me to install Windows 10 in my new build PC. However I am not able to install it immediately, and I need to return the drive to my friend, so I am hoping to copy the files to my other flashdrive (Sandisk, 32 Gb). When I plug-in both device it quite unusual that my friend's drive is different to mine (please see the image attached).

As you said earlier my friend drive is counterfeit drive? Am I right? What should I do?

      Thank you.

The issue may not be a counterfeit drive as originally theorized. Looking again at the original screenshot, the issue is because the destination you chose to write the image to is a FAT32 filesystem. The max single file size for FAT32 is 4GB.

There isn't an option to do a direct drive to drive imaging in imageUSB. To create a duplicate image of the original drive onto your other flash drive: first create image to local storage (e.g. your desktop), then write the image to your other USB flash drive. NOTE: make sure there is nothing on your other USB Flash drive that you wish to keep, any data on the drive will be overwritten.

If you are not on some data bandwidth restriction, Microsoft provides the Windows 10 installer freely on their website to create your own USB Flash Drive.
