Two taps to open links

I noticed I have to tap every link (or button) on this web page twice, otherwise it dies not open.
It happens here in the forum or on https://www.memtest86.com/

Other web pages work fine.

I use Safari on iPad. Chrome works the same.

It is an Apple thing. Safari detects an :hover state on a link, you will have to tap once to view the "mouseover", and twice to follow the link.

But we are in the process of doing a complete web site redesign. So the problem will likely disappear with the new web site.
