I assume you mean compare in terms of performance.
x5450 - PassMark rating 4335
e5640 - PassMark rating 6712 (Single CPU motherboard)
e5640 - PassMark rating 8467 (Dual CPU motherboard)
w5580 - PassMark rating 4576
So the e5640 is the fastest.
