  • Screen resolution is too low

I'm having some issues getting Memtest up and running. I don't think there are any issues with my RAM, but I want to run Memtest to rule it out.

At the moment, the issue is that I never see anything past the Memtest bootup. i.e. I never see the option to choose between Config and Exit.

This is the last thing I see - then the screen just goes black.:

The only thing I can discern from the logs is:
"Screen resolution is too low (800 x 600). Setting screen size to the minimum 1024 x 768"

    I've double-checked and my U2410 supports 1024x768.

Is this a common problem? Not sure what to do.

Here is the log from a number of reboots: https://www.notion.so/Memtest-Logs-3...0413c67274c46c

I've used ImageUSB. I'm using the latest version available via the Download button on the memtest86.com homepage.

    Gigabyte Z77MX-D3H version 1.0
    BIOS version F12
    BIOS set to "Optimized Defaults"
..."Legacy USB" set to Enabled (my USB drive does not show up on bootup without this)
..."Performance Enhanced" memory set to Normal

    Intel i5-3750k
    4x 4GB Samsung "Wonder RAM" (M379B5273DH0-YK0)
    2x SSD
Dell U2410 connected to integrated graphics via DVI
No dedicated graphics card - I've pulled it because I think this is the culprit of some stability issues I'm having.

    Thanks for the logs.

Looks like the issue is similar to most of the issues we've seen recently.
We added some more debug output, as well as disabled setting of the graphics resolutions.

Can you give the following build a try and attach the logs as before:

Thanks - this actually booted and is running fine now. Will let you know if it fails and attach logs. Thanks!
