Detecting the copying of emails to a USB drive

I did a dumb thing - transferred a small number of emails to a thumb drive, and now leaving the company. Can this be detected later by IT? Windows 10.

There isn't enough information to answer this question, but this post might help provide some background information

Thank you. Copying of the emails (small number of them that accumulated over a week) was done prior to some software being auto-loaded through a push that alerted to plug-in of USB's. But the laptop is being sent to a forensics person. I assume they will check for USB history somehow.
