  • Advice for my new computer

Hi, i'm building a new computer wich will be my every day computer and gaming system. I want it to last as long as possible of course (I do not want to buy another one until 4 years and still be able to play the latest games at least on medium if this is possible). Price have to be around 1100€ (~1500$ USD). Here is what i've done for 1100€.

    - CPU : i7 4770k
    - GPU : Geforce GTX 770
    - mother: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
    - power supply : Corsair RM 650W
    - SSD : Plextor M5 pro 128 Go
    - Hard drive : Wester digital caviar 1 To
    - 8Go Ram
    - PC case

Do you think it is good ? If not what should I replace ? Remember that price must be 1100€.

    Thanks a lot ! =D

    Seems reasonable to me.
I might be tempted to go to 16GB of RAM. Not because you really need it, but it is cheap. You can always add it later on however.
I assume you have factored in the price of a LCD screen.

Thanks for the fast answer ! it's good to have someone else checking your stuff =D ! I think you are alright and i'll go for the 16 Gb of RAM. I do not want to abuse your time but I also made another one with a GTX 780 and an i5 4670k :

      CPU : Intel Core i7-4770k (195,80 €)
      GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (419,99€)
SSD : ScanDisk Extreme II 120 Go (89,14€)
DD : Western Digital Blue Desktop 1 To (57,05€)
      RAM : Kingston KHX1600C9D3K2 8Go (63,80€) (will be 16Gb probably)
      Carte mere : Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H (114,52€)
      Power: Corsair RM 850W (135,03 €)
      case: 80€

I am not sure about this one but i heart that CPU tend to be not that usefull in game as long as you do not get CPU limited.
