Memtest

My PC keeps restarting randomly.
I want to do a memtest to check if the problem is RAM, but will there be any problem if the PC restarts during the memtest.
Because last time when i updated my bios the PC restarted and bricked my bios, will there be any problem if my PC restarts during the memtest ?

MemTest86 doesn't use the internal hard drive nor change the BIOS.
So even if there is a restart in the middle of the test it won't make the machine any worse that it already is.
