CPU comaprision

Dear Sir,
I made CPU comparisons from this site and I found my computer is 2.69 times computationally faster than other CPU. But today when I made the same comparison, I found the fraction to be 2.79. I want to know why the ratio changed when I compare the same pcs using this site over a period of 3 months. Please reply fast as I need this information for my research.
