  • Memtest Damages Windows and cause boot problems

I have recently run the Memstest and the test showed around 300 errors, however, after the test, my computer could never boot again. it stock at bios. the windows does not come up and even when I try to boot using memtest USB it does not work.

I replaced the RAMs, Cleared CMOS, and everything !
I guess the test had damaged the windows but it makes no sense why and how it should have happened !!

Memtest86 never writes to the internal hard drive or changes any BIOS settings. So very hard to imagine how this could have happened, except by co-incidence.

More likely Windows corrupted itself due to the hardware failing. (300 RAM errors is a lot, often machines won't even boot in this bad a state)
