    This is a message from the PerformanceTest software. This message appears if you manually set the number of test processes to be different from the number of CPU cores.
    So maybe an 8 core CPU, but you set the number of test processes to 3.
    Clicking Yes, will reset this to 8.

    If you don't do this, the benchmark results will not be what is expected for the CPU model in question.

    What exactly is being monitored here and changed when I click Yes?"
    FWIW, I couldn't find a way to search the forum for previously answered Qs.
