How can memtest86 check my HPE server ?

I am using the free version of memtest86 but actually I have 2 questions :

1- Does this tools just do memory test on system or it also can test other devices such as CPU , HDD , SSD Nvme , ..... ?
2- when we just click on start to do test it will test read and write on memory or just test read ?

MemTest86 is primarily for testing memory. For complete system testing, take a look at our BurnInTest software.

RAM is volatile, i.e. upon powering off the system, the contents of the RAM are not saved, therefore MemTest86 will write to the RAM and then read back the contents verification. For a more in depth of how MemTest86 works, and test description refer to the Technical Information page.
