  • failed on the 4th pass

was experiencing issues with some laptop ram - blue screens, freezes, etc. ran memtest86 and got test failures all over the place on one of the paired SODIMMs.
was able to get vendor to warranty replace them, so for giggles i decided to run the test battery against the new RAM (2 sticks of 16GM DDR4-3200).
3 passes went just fine and passed. on the 4th pass there about 20 errors reported.

haven't used this product extensively, so just looking for advice in how to interpret this. i'd figure if the RAM was truly bad, then there would be failures across al 4 test passes, not just one).
i'd post the HTML test log, but right now the USB stick that holds the log is in use re-running the tests.
add it to this thread when i can.

but has anyone experienced the scenario where only one or some test pass fails but not all of them?

    Thanks

as the error occurred in the 4th pass, but the first 3 were clean, i'm inclined to go with the one-off, random cosmic weirdness theory.
i've just completed two full passes that were clean, so i'm thinking all is good.
thanks for the info and perspective from the article link.
