Performancetest becomes unresponsive in D3D12 test

Hello.

Whenever I try to run all tests with the newest version of Performancetest trial, the program becomes unresponsive and stays at the 8x multisample test screen (the one with jets) and just freezes there, while the other tests keep running (and I can glance at them with the Alt Tab menu). The program even gives me an evaluation score, but I can no longer quit the program or do anything else, even Ctrl Alt Del, I can only look around a little bit with Alt Tab.

The 3D scene with the jets in DirectX9.
The DirectX12 scene is the one in space with the space ships and asteroids.

The DirectX9 has been in the software pretty much unchanged for decades. If it doesn't work, it is nearly sure it is a hardware failure or device driver bug.
