  • Memtest pauses after 15 second

New to Memtest86. Had issue with a game that froze, first issue since I built this PC in October 2023. Since then I cannot boot window from ssd or flash drive, I’ve tried different gpu, removed SSD and SATA SSD and tried in various ways to boot window with no luck, I’ll get the windows logo follows by versions of BSOD.
    i suspect,
    my motherboard, Msi-mpg B650 carbon
    my ram, Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s DDR5 CL36 Desktop
    or my processor now, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7900 12-Core, 24-Thread
when I run memtest86 with my ram in any slot with either stick it pauses after 15 seconds at 16%.
    thoughts?

If you tested one stick at a time and the same problem occurs with both, it is very unlikely that RAM is the problem.
(I assume when you say pause, you mean it totally locked up and never progressed any further).

Memtest86 doesn't use the SSD. So you can rule that out as well.

This leaves CPU, Motherboard or PSU. (with tiny chance of the GPU)

Do you have a spare CPU or MB to try?

I do not but maybe I can get one to borrow. Kingston are sending out replacement Ram. I also could not get Memtest to boot with the Ram in the first slot either, If that narrows it down?
And, yes both RAMs in slot 2 gave the same results

In the absence of any sophisticated (expensive) test & measurement equipment you are limited to swapping components in and out, until it works.

There were reports of Ryzen 7000 series CPUs burning out due to incorrect BIOS settings.
