search CPUs by socket

Hello
I can't find a way to list all the CPUs that are compatible with one socket.
Currently I own a i7-7820x 3.60 CPU on a 2066 socket.
for MS flight simulator 2024 I need to upgrade the CPU but it needs to be compatible with the 2066 socket of my motherboard.

How can I do please ?

You can use the CPU Mark by Socket Type page for this.

The Intel Core i9-10980XE is the fastest CPU for this socket. But you might find that
1) The CPU is hard to find 2nd hand as it was never super popular.
2) Your BIOS might or might not be compatible
3) Your cooling solution might not be enough
4) It doesn't help performance as much as you hope as some of these "faster" CPUs are only faster if you use all their cores. Single threaded performance is only 5% better for the fastest CPU. Peformance might also be GPU limited.

The original intention was limit the socket dropdown list to the popular sockets to prevent from having too large of a dropdown (not user-friendly on mobile). However, as the number of socket types grown, this may not be this may not be the best choice, we'll look to change this to allow users to either select an option in the list or manually type for socket type.
