  • SSD's Vs. Spindle in RDP server

I am buying a new Dell Server for use as a Remote Desktop Server (about 20 users). I have no problem with the processors, but I wonder...

since the server is doing the all the heavy lifting (running the apps), if I have an app which is constantly pinging a data file (50-250mb) would I see much of a performance difference if I used SSD's instead of spindle drives?

I intend to use only two drives in raid 1.

SSD are much much faster, for all operations.
The only reason not to use them is cost, if you are on a super tight budget.
