USB PD Tester Pro - Not accumulating source mAh or mWh capacity

I'm trying to use the PD Pro to test capacity in a power bank. The Sink Port capacity meter might be useful if it didn't automatically clear the contents when the load disconnects due to low battery, so that feature's basically useless unless you're staring at it when the load dies - and it seems the capacity data isn't captured in the log, either.

So, I tried it from the other direction - charging - except the capacity meter in the source section (shown in the image) just sits at 0 while providing power to the attached device, and I can see it flashing really fast to stay at 0 (for both mAh and mWh). In the picture I provided, the power bank had been charging for a few minutes before I captured the image. After 10 minutes, it was still 0.

I'm guessing the Source capacity meter is a bug, but not sure what's going on with the Sink capacity meter if it auto-clears itself when the load disconnects. Whatever the case, the PD Pro can't be easily used to determine power bank capacity with these issues, and it sure would be nice if the logs would capture start/end capacity when the load disconnects or is reset.

      Hello,

We have released a new update now that resolves the issue as well includes some other minor improvements. After updating to firmware version 2.4 and using v1.0.1006 of the Windows Application (downloaded from this page: https://www.passmark.com/products/us...o/download.php), you will find the following changes:
      • Source capacity meter functioning
      • Capacity is not cleared on disconnect / connect
      • Clicking "Reset" will now also write the capacity to the log before resetting back to 0
Thank you again for making us aware of this and for the very clear detailed description.

Many thanks for fixing these issues and adding the capacity measurements to the log! It's really nice to be able to let this rip overnight without babysitting an 8-hour slow-rate discharge.
