Hello!
I have created Memtest86 in the past on my computer, but I am wondering if there is something going on because when I create the UFD, the total space on the UFD goes from 28GB to 1GB.
The log doesn't indicate anything that I could use to troubleshoot either:
09:41:54:237 - PassMark Software - imageUSB v1.1.1014
09:41:54:242 - Getting list of available removable USB drives...
09:41:54:243 - Inspecting Drive C:\...
09:41:54:244 - Inspecting Drive D:\...
09:41:54:246 - Inspecting Drive E:\...
09:41:54:249 - Ready...
09:42:14:033 - Drive E:\ added to queue.
09:42:14:037 - Note: Disk image was not created with imageUSB previously.
Image file does not contain a valid checksum. Verification will be calculated from source image.
09:42:14:079 - Writing image C:\Users\jd2242\Downloads\memtest86\memtest86-usb.img to E:\ (drive 1)
09:42:14:139 - Drive E:\ write completed.
09:42:14:193 - Verifying written image on Drive E:\
09:42:14:252 - Drive E:\ checksum completed.
09:42:14:255 - MD5 matched. (E:\).
MD5 (Drive) : 06BE300364CE92F38ED10374EC2799DD
MD5 (Image) : 06BE300364CE92F38ED10374EC2799DD
09:42:14:259 - SHA1 matched. (E:\).
SHA1 (Drive) : EE2DE4559E08FC3EB63394D4B4976FD91AA93A98
SHA1 (Image) : EE2DE4559E08FC3EB63394D4B4976FD91AA93A98
As a result, I am not able to use this because the USB drive is also not being seen by the target computer. (Dell Latitude 5320, circa 2021, BIOS updated today before I tried memtest86.
Any idea why this is happening since from what I know, memtest needs more than 1MB to install on a drive, no?
