Greetings Guys!
I've done plenty os search before creating this thread but I don't know what else i could try to fix my computer. I hope you guys can help me I'll be forever grateful
Well, PC specs:
cpu: AMD 8350 ( never overclocked )
mobo:Gigabyte ud3 - 990FXA R5
mem: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) 1600Mhz DDR3 CL9 - CMY16GX3M2A1600C9A (Listed as compatible with this MOBO)
hds: 2 western digitals and one sandisk ready cache ssd (32gb)
video: Gigabyte 970 g1 gaming 4gb
Symptoms:
I've been using this PC for almost one year on windows 10. Suddenly started to boots randomly at windows or playing CS:Go.. It boots directly to the post screen and nothing is logged at windows event logs. So I started to search for something strange. The only thing that I found was that my memory wasn't running anymore in dual channel mode and besides that only half of the physical memory was assigned as "usable" by the windows (7,97GB). I tried to raise the memory voltage a little bit but the system was unstable... BTW The system won't boot if I set the memory clock to 1600mhz... When I install the RAM at channels 3 and 4 or 1 and 2 the windows recognize 16GB of memory but the random boots keep occurring. ( The bios always recognize 16GB of memory no matter in which channels the RAM is installed).
The only scenario that the PC won't boot randomly is using only one RAM but only at 1333mhz.
Changed the OS to windows 7 and windows 8.1 but this scenario was exactly the same. So I sent the MOBO to RMA and after some days I received a brand new one. They didn't said to me what was wrong with the old mobo.
Well I though that everything would be fine now Butttttttttt the scenario was the same again with the brand new Mobo.... So I got a new memory kit anddddddddddddd the random boot scenario was the same again .
So I tried to run a MemTest86 but the test always freezes at test #7! (I'll post the execution log shortly)
I'm suspecting that there's something wrong with the CPU memory controller.. I've been trying to solve this for about one moth now.. I'm almost going for a intel build... i'm so annoyed!!
What Else can I do ?
Thanks in Advance..
P.S.Sorry for my english
