Memtest86vs. memory diagnostic tool

Hi,

I tested the operation of the DDR4 memories with memtest86 without any problems. I then performed a test with the memory diagnostic tool in Windows 10 in "extended" mode and freezes at 21%. Which of the two tests is more reliable?

We don't actually know exactly what the extended mode memory diagnostic tool in Windows 10 does. Does anyone? So it is a bit hard to compare.

Are you absolutely sure it freezes??? I think not. There are test that are long to finish and seemingly it stuck at 21% but let it overnight or much longer period and it will continue...
