    What is "Fail-Safe Mode" Exactly?

    Could not find an explanation in the FAQ, searching this forum, or Googling.

          When Memtest86 v4.20 starts up it says press F1 for "Fail-Safe Mode". When I then press F1 it says:

          *** Memtest86+ is running in fail safe mode. Same reliability, less details ***

              MemTest86+ isn't our software and V7.3 is the current release.
