  • Corsair Platinum DDRr 3000Mhz misreported

    Hello,
I tried to search for it but came up empty. Anyone know if version 7.3(Pro) has an issue with identifying Corsair's Platinum (CMD32GX4M4B3000C15) running on EVGA Z270 Classified MB? I tried the latest BIOS but it didn't make a difference. It reports it as PC4-17000 DDR4 2133MHz. I'm assuming it's cosmetic, but wanted to see if anyone ran into it.

    It isn't a known issue.

Can you send us the log from MemTest86, (MemTest86.log on the USB drive)

You might also want to have a look at what RAMMon is reporting.

Yes, I can do that. Just an FYI, the test (I ran all tests overnight) didn't pickup the bad DRAM module. After replacing other parts, I replaced the DRAM and the BSOD/Stopcode stopped. So clearly, the suite of tests missed something. Thanks
