memtest86 support onboard soldered ram?

My laptop has 16gb ram, 8gb of that is soldered to the motherboard.

memtest detects all 16gb, but only lists the 8gb samsung stick. Onboard ram is not listed.

Does memtest test the onboard ram?

Yes, 16G was detected and will be tested.

Likely the soldered RAM didn't have SPD details or the SPD details were not available on the SMBus
