  • Test #3 300k+ errors on NEW PC (PASS nr.6-7)

Hello there, i would like to ask your help on this problem.

    My pc specs:
    CPU:ryzen 5 1600@def
RAM: kingston HyperX 2x8GB @ 3200MHz (running them @2400, DOCP profiles 3000 and 3200MHz are unstable in windows so i backed up to 2400 which was set auto by my desktop at first startup)
    PSU: 550W seasonic gold plus
    MB: asus rog strix B350-f

Few days ago i bought myself new PC (components-build it myself), but since begining have been having instability issues, and 1 BSOD while playing WOT. (
Tested PRIME for 15 hours with no problem.
Then did MEMTEST last night, all was fine untill pass number 6, then, in pass nr 7 i got 371848 errors, saying it happend during test nr.3

Does this mean my RAM is faulty? (i can still return them and get my money back cause its not even 14 days from purchase)

    Any help much appreciated!!

    Cheers. Tom

(if needed, i can post the whole logfile from memtest)

RAM errors normally mean the RAM is bad.
But give the low address rage involved and the large number of bits in error, there is some chance it might be a BIOS bug (e.g. some hardware using a block of RAM, but not flagging the RAM as in use, resulting in it getting overwritten).
