  • Build memtest86 (v4) from source code

    Hi,

I'd like to warn you guys first that my knowledge on this subject is very poor, I guess, so don't go too hard on me, please.

I try to create a bootable CD-ROM. After I type "make.iso", it shows the error below:

    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/chris/src'
    ./makeiso.sh
    make: ./makeiso.sh: Command not found
    make: *** [iso] Error 127

I search error 127, someone said that is means one of two things.

file not found or the binary is wrong.

    My system is 64 bits.

Probably best not to compile it from the source code then and instead use the pre-built binary we supply.

      Hi David,

My boss ask me to build it. so...

I find out that the file "makeiso.sh" should be create by make command, but it doesn't exists.

I didn't change any setting or option in makefile.

Good thing for us that your boss isn't our boss

We don't offer free technical support for coding and compiling issues. Just don't have time.
Someone else in the forum might jump in and help. But based on passed experience, most people don't have time for that.

We can offer paid consulting. But I assume your boss gave you no budget for the project.
