We do add new CPUs to the list based on customer demand, technical feasibility and development cost.

Unfortunately new code is required for each CPU type (there is no standard interface for doing this) and the technical details are not well documented (and are largely a Intel secret). Getting hold of these CPUs can also be extremely expensive. So it makes it very hard to test any new code as well. So development costs tend to be very high for a feature only used by maybe 0.5% of customers.
