    CPU State D

    Hello,

When I run memtest86 on one of my machines, 2 of the 4 cpu cores have the state of D, while the other 2 have states of either \,|,/, or W. I know what \,|,/, and W mean.

    What does D mean?

    Thank you.

'D' means the core is disabled. By default, hyperthread cores are disabled for performance reasons.
    'W' means waiting.
