Memtest86 V4.*, V5.* and V7.* : questions about results location and test completion

Hi, I have to ask these because it is confusing and I just spent 3 days trying to get some results on a report to then find out there are none.

A) Memtest86 V4.*
1) does it create a report with the results ?
1.1) if yes, where is it stored ?

2) is the test going to end on its own or we have to manually stop it with Esc key ?

B) Memtest86 V5.*
1) does it create a report with the results ?
1.1) if yes, where is it stored ?

2) is the test going to end on its own or we have to manually stop it with Esc key ?

3) By the way, why is it only available at www.memtest.org and not on www.passmark.com ?

C) Memtest86 V7.*
1) does it create a report with the results ?

V4 only displays a report on the screen. It doesn't write anything to disk.

That V5 MemTest86+ software isn't ours. It was a fork, that is no longer updated.

V7 can write a report (and a debug log). The report name is displayed on the screen at the end of the test and written to the USB drive.

V7 will end by itself after 4 passes (unless you set something different).
